Dining Policies
One of our main goals is to provide a pleasant, clean, comfortable and satisfying dining experience. In order to meet this goal, we ask for your assistance with the following procedures:
- Please bus your dishes and disposables from your table when you have finished dining
- Please refrain from taking food, dishes or utensils from the dining area.
- Remember that Meal Cards are non-transferable. Meal cards cannot be used by anyone but the purchaser.
Meal Plans
In order to meet your campus dining needs, we have designed the following meal plans for the 2012-2013 academic year. If you need to purchase a meal plan, or if you would like to make a change to the plan you have already selected, simply contact The Meal Plan/ID Counter located in 223 Cartwright Center. You will be billed for your Meal Plan/Campus Cash purchase at a later date by the University Business Office. Campus Cash can be purchased and added to your account any time during the semester.
Traditional Meal Plans
Students purchasing this plan can use their meals in any of the Whitney Center dining areas and The Cellar.

In addition to eating in the Whitney Center dining areas and The Cellar, students purchasing these plans can use their block meals in The Galley, Einstein Bros. The Cellar - FöD, Murphy’s Mug and Centennial Hall.

Reuter Block Meal Plan (Reuter Hall Residents Only)
Students living in Reuter Hall may sign up for the Reuter Block Plan instead of one of the meals-per-week plans.

Faculty/Staff Block Dining Plan
The Faculty/Staff Block Meal Plan is ideal for University faculty and staff members who eat on-campus on a semi-regular basis. Payroll deduction is available.
The Block Meal Plan is not limited to transfer hours, but can be used whenever each of these areas is open. The cost of the Block Plan is:
Initial Purchases of 25 meals - $138.73 (including tax)
After Initial Purchase blocks of ten meals can be purchased for $51.27.
Block Plans can be purchased in 223 Cartwright Center.
Off-Campus Dining Plan
The Block Meal Plan is ideal for the students who move off-campus yet would still like to eat on-campus on a semi-regular basis.
The Block Meal Plan is not restricted by dining areas, but can be used whenever each of these areas is open. The cost of the Block Plan is:
Initial Purchases of 50 meals - $345.00
After Initial Purchase(which includes a $102 sign-up fee, paid once per academic year) blocks of ten meals can be purchased for $48.60.
Block meals DO NOT carry over to the next academic year.
